ושדר יחזקיהו על כל ישראל ויהודה ואוף פטקין כתב על דבית אפרים ומנשה למיתי לבית מקדשא דיי בירושלם למעבד פסחא קדם יי אלהא דישראל:
dyshral alha yy qdm pskha lmebd byrwshlm dyy mqdsha lbyth lmythy wmnshh aprym dbyth el kthb pTqyn wawp wyhwdh yshral kl el ykhzqyhw wshdr
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to Yahweh’s house at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

ואתמליך מלכא ורברבנוי וכלהון ישראל וכל קהלא בירושלם לעבריא ירחא דניסן ולמעבד פסחא בירחא דאיר הוא ירחא תנינא:
thnyna yrkha hwa dayr byrkha pskha wlmebd dnysn yrkha lebrya byrwshlm qhla wkl yshral wklhwn wrbrbnwy mlka wathmlyk
For the king had taken counsel with his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.

ארום לא יכילו למעבד פסחא בניסן מטול דכהניא לא אתקדשו לאדכאה כמסת עבידת קורבניא ועמא לא ספיקו לאתכנשא לירושלם:
lyrwshlm lathknsha spyqw la wema qwrbnya ebydth kmsth ladkah athqdshw la dkhnya mTwl bnysn pskha lmebd ykylw la arwm
For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, and the people had not gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

וכשר פתגמא קדם מלכא קדם כל קהלא:
qhla kl qdm mlka qdm pthgma wkshr
The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.

וקימו פתגמא לאעברא כרוזא בכל ישראל מדן ועד בארא דשבע ועד פמיאס למיתי למעבד פסחא קדם יי אלהא דישראל בירושלם מטול דלא סגיאות קהלא עבדו פסחא בניסן בזמניה היכמה דכתיב:
dkthyb hykmh bzmnyh bnysn pskha ebdw qhla sgyawth dla mTwl byrwshlm dyshral alha yy qdm pskha lmebd lmythy pmyas wed dshbe bara wed mdn yshral bkl krwza laebra pthgma wqymw
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to Yahweh, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it in great numbers in the way it is written.

ואזלו ריהטוניא בפטקיא מן ידא דמלכא ורברבנוי בכל בית ישראל ויהודה ובתפקדתא דמלכא למימר בני ישראל תובו לדחלתא דיי אלהא דאברהם יצחק וישראל ויתובית לשזבתא דאשתירת לכון מן ידיהון דמלכיא דאתור:
dathwr dmlkya ydyhwn mn lkwn dashthyrth lshzbtha wythwbyth wyshral ytskhq dabrhm alha dyy ldkhltha thwbw yshral bny lmymr dmlka wbthpqdtha wyhwdh yshral byth bkl wrbrbnwy dmlka yda mn bpTqya ryhTwnya wazlw
So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant of you that have escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.

ולא תהון הי כאבהתכון והי כאחוכון די שקרו במימרא דיי אלהא דאבהתהון ומסר יתהון לשנאיהון ויהבנון לצדו היכמה די אתון חמאין :
khmayn athwn dy hykmh ltsdw wyhbnwn lshnayhwn ythhwn wmsr dabhthhwn alha dyy bmymra shqrw dy kakhwkwn why kabhthkwn hy thhwn wla
Don’t be like your fathers and like your brothers, who trespassed against Yahweh, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.

כדון לא תקשון קדלכון כאבהתכון אושיטו ידא ותובו לדחלתא דיי ואתו לבית מקדשיה דאקדיש לעלם ופלחו קדם יי ויתוב מנכון תקוף רוגזיה:
rwgzyh thqwp mnkwn wythwb yy qdm wplkhw lelm daqdysh mqdshyh lbyth wathw dyy ldkhltha wthwbw yda awshyTw kabhthkwn qdlkwn thqshwn la kdwn
Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

ארום כד תתובון לדחלתא דיי אחיכון ובניכון יהב לרחמין קדם די שבו יתהון ויתיב במימריה לאתבותהון לארעא הדא ארום חננא ורחמנא יי אלהכון לא יסלק שכנתיה מביניכון אין תתובון עד דחלתיה:
dkhlthyh ed ththwbwn ayn mbynykwn shknthyh yslq la alhkwn yy wrkhmna khnna arwm hda larea lathbwthhwn bmymryh wythyb ythhwn shbw dy qdm lrkhmyn yhb wbnykwn akhykwn dyy ldkhltha ththwbwn kd arwm
For if you turn again to Yahweh, your brothers and your children will find compassion with those who led them captive, and will come again into this land, because Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you if you return to him.”

והוו ריהטוניא עברין מן קרי לקרי בארעא דבית אפרים ודבית מנשה ועד זבולן והוו מגחכין עליהון ומתעלבין בהון:
bhwn wmthelbyn elyhwn mgkhkyn whww zbwln wed mnshh wdbyth aprym dbyth barea lqry qry mn ebryn ryhTwnya whww
So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun, but people ridiculed them and mocked them.

לחוד גוברין משבטא דאשר ומשבטא דמנשה ומשבטא דזבולן אתכנעו ואתו לירושלם:
lyrwshlm wathw athknew dzbwln wmshbTa dmnshh wmshbTa dashr mshbTa gwbryn lkhwd
Nevertheless some men of Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.

אוף בדבית יהודה הות רעוא מן קדם יי למתן להון לבא חד למעבד תפקדתא דמלכא ורבניא הי כפתגמיא דיי:
dyy kpthgmya hy wrbnya dmlka thpqdtha lmebd khd lba lhwn lmthn yy qdm mn rewa hwth yhwdh bdbyth awp
Also the hand of God came on Judah to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by Yahweh’s word.

ואתכנישו לירושלם עם סגיא למעבד ית חגא דפטיריא בירחא תנינא קהלא סגיא לחדא:
lkhda sgya qhla thnyna byrkha dpTyrya khga yth lmebd sgya em lyrwshlm wathknyshw
Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.

וקמו ועטרו ית אגוריא די בירושלם וית כל בתי אסקות בוסמין לטעותא עטרו וטלקו לנחלא דקדרון:
dqdrwn lnkhla wTlqw eTrw lTewtha bwsmyn asqwth bthy kl wyth byrwshlm dy agwrya yth weTrw wqmw
They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and they took away all the altars for incense and threw them into the brook Kidron.

ונכיסו ית פסחא בארביסר לירחא תנינא וכהניא אתכנעו ואתקדשו ואיתיאו עלון בבית מקדשא דיי:
dyy mqdsha bbyth elwn waythyaw wathqdshw athknew wkhnya thnyna lyrkha barbysr pskha yth wnkysw
Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into Yahweh’s house.

וקמו על דוכנהון כד חזי להון הי כאוריתא דמשה נביא דיי כהניא זרקין ית אדמא מן ידיהון דליואי:
dlyway ydyhwn mn adma yth zrqyn khnya dyy nbya dmshh kawrytha hy lhwn khzy kd dwknhwn el wqmw
They stood in their place after their order, according to the law of Moses the man of God. The priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.

ארום סוגי קהלא לא אתקדשו וליואי הוו ממנן על נכסת אמריא דפסחא לכל גבר דילא אדכי לאתקדשא קדם יי:
yy qdm lathqdsha adky dyla gbr lkl dpskha amrya nksth el mmnn hww wlyway athqdshw la qhla swgy arwm
For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to Yahweh.

ארום סוגי עמא ומדבית אפרים ומדבית מנשה ומדבית יששכר ומדבית זבולן לא אדכיו ארום אכלו ית פסחא קדמאה בדלא כתיב ותבו למעבד פסחא תנינא כדכתיב ארום צלי חזקיהו אמטולהון למימר יי דהוא טב יכפר על עמא דאשתליו:
dashthlyw ema el ykpr Tb dhwa yy lmymr amTwlhwn khzqyhw tsly arwm kdkthyb thnyna pskha lmebd wthbw kthyb bdla qdmah pskha yth aklw arwm adkyw la zbwln wmdbyth yshshkr wmdbyth mnshh wmdbyth aprym wmdbyth ema swgy arwm
For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover other than the way it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Yahweh pardon everyone

ארום לבביה אתקין למתבע דחלתא דיי אלהיה אלהא דאבהתוי ולא יתבע חוביהון דעמא דלא עבדו ית פסחא כדחזי למיכל בדכותא בשר קודשא:
qwdsha bshr bdkwtha lmykl kdkhzy pskha yth ebdw dla dema khwbyhwn ythbe wla dabhthwy alha alhyh dyy dkhltha lmthbe athqyn lbbyh arwm
who sets his heart to seek God, Yahweh, the God of his fathers, even if they aren’t clean according to the purification of the sanctuary.”

וקביל יי צלותיה דחזקיהו ואסי ית עמא:
ema yth wasy dkhzqyhw tslwthyh yy wqbyl
Yahweh listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21
ועבדו בני ישראל דאשתכחו בירושלם ית חגא דפטריא שבעא יומין בחדוא רבתא ומשבחין קדם יי יומא ביומא ליואי וכהניא בזיני תושבחתא קדם יי:
yy qdm thwshbkhtha bzyny wkhnya lyway bywma ywma yy qdm wmshbkhyn rbtha bkhdwa ywmyn shbea dpTrya khga yth byrwshlm dashthkkhw yshral bny webdw
The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness. The Levites and the priests praised Yahweh day by day, singing with loud instruments to Yahweh.

ומלל יחזקיהו על לב ליואי דאית בהון שכלא טבא קדם יי ואכלו ית נכסי קודשיא דמועדיא שבעא יומין דבחין דבחי נכסת קודשיא ומהודן קדם יי אלהא דאבהתהון:
dabhthhwn alha yy qdm wmhwdn qwdshya nksth dbkhy dbkhyn ywmyn shbea dmwedya qwdshya nksy yth waklw yy qdm Tba shkla bhwn dayth lyway lb el ykhzqyhw wmll
Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of Yahweh. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings and making confession to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.

ואתמליכו כל קהלא למעבד בתר פסחא שירותא שבעא יומין חורנין ועבדו שירותא שבעא יומין בחדוא:
bkhdwa ywmyn shbea shyrwtha webdw khwrnyn ywmyn shbea shyrwtha pskha bthr lmebd qhla kl wathmlykw
The whole assembly took counsel to keep another seven days, and they kept another seven days with gladness.

ארום חזקיהו מליך שבטא דבית יהודה אפריש לקהלא אלפא תורין ושבעת אלפין עאן ורברביא אפרישו לקהלא תורין אלפא ועאן עשרתי אלפין ואתקדשו כהניא לסוגעא:
lswgea khnya wathqdshw alpyn eshrthy wean alpa thwryn lqhla apryshw wrbrbya ean alpyn wshbeth thwryn alpa lqhla aprysh yhwdh dbyth shbTa mlyk khzqyhw arwm
For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

וחדיאו כל קהלא דיהודה וכהניא וליואי וכלהון קהלא דאתו מדבית ישראל וגיוריא דאתין מארעא דישראל ודיתבין ביהודה:
byhwdh wdythbyn dyshral marea dathyn wgywrya yshral mdbyth dathw qhla wklhwn wlyway wkhnya dyhwdh qhla kl wkhdyaw
All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of the land of Israel and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
26
והות חדוא רבתא בירושלם ארום מן יומי שלמה בר דוד מלכא דישראל לא הות כדא בירושלם:
byrwshlm kda hwth la dyshral mlka dwd br shlmh ywmy mn arwm byrwshlm rbtha khdwa whwth
So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was nothing like this in Jerusalem.

וקמו כהניא וליואי ובריכו ית עמא ואתקבלת צלותהון ועלת צלותהון למדור בית שכינת קודשיה לשמיא:
lshmya qwdshyh shkynth byth lmdwr tslwthhwn welth tslwthhwn wathqblth ema yth wbrykw wlyway khnya wqmw
Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people. Their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
